Obituary for Shirley Cooper HARTFORD-Shirley Moseley Cooper, 83 of Hartford passed away peacefully on Sunday June 10, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born on May 18, 1935 in Ohio County to the late William Everett Moseley and Elizabeth Stewart Moseley. Over her many years she enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family.

She was a very devoted member of Hartford Christian Church. She always enjoyed all types of flowers and the beauty they would provide. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Donald M. Cooper, her brothers Ernest Clyde Moseley and Tony Moseley, along with her sisters Susie Clark, Joyce Moseley and Jo Moseley.

She is survived by her son, Donald Morris (DM) Cooper of Hartford; brothers: Roy Moseley of Owensboro, Tommy Moseley (Frances) of Owensboro, Robert (Bobby) Moseley of Owensboro, William (Billy) Moseley and his wife Tina of Whitesville, Anderson (Andy) Moseley of Owensboro, Sisters: Carolyn Funk of Hartford, Ann Rawson of Hartford, Debra Beard and her husband (Austin) of Whitesville, Marie Hayden and her husband (Marty) of Owensboro, Cathy Logsdon and her husband (Rick) of Owensboro and Lin Brown of Owensboro. Also surviving is her Aunt Virginia Boyd of Utica. And several nieces nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will at 2:00 pm on Wednesday June 13th at Hartford Christian Church in Hartford with Brother Mike Erwin officiating. Burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 4 until 8 pm at the Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home 114 West Walnut St. Hartford.

Visitation will be held again on Wednesday at the church from 11 am until the time of the service. Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Cooper.
