Mary’s Obituary Mary Rita (Goodall) Dunn, age 99, of Sharon, PA, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Clepper Manor Nursing Home. Born November 12, 1919 in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late James and Maymie (Davis) Goodall. She was married to Robert Dunn and he preceded her in death.

Mary graduated from North High School in Akron, Ohio and worked for a short time as a sales clerk for Kauffmann’s Department Store, but for most of her life was a homemaker. She was active for many years with the American Red Cross, Sharon Chapter and the Sharon Regional Hospital Auxiliary. She was also an instructor of life skills with MCAR.

Mary was a member of St. Stanislaus Koska Church. With her red hair and fondness for happy hour and music, Mary nearly reached her 100 year goal at 99 and a half, loving and full of life, embarking on many adventures, such as driving a Corvette Convertible across country not long ago. She was spunky, loving and so much fun.

We will miss you mom. Mary is survived by two sons Daniel A. (Kathleen) Dunn of Mesa AZ, and Jeffrey J. Dunn of Slippery Rock, PA, two daughters-in-law Sandy Dunn of Bradenton, FL, and Donna Dunn of Gilbert, AZ, 9 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, R. Timothy and Richard J. Dunn, a sister Margaret Scott and a granddaughter Laura Dunn.

A memorial mass will take place at a later date at St. Stanislaus Koska Church. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at St. Rose Cemetery.
