Mary’s Obituary Mary Ruth Leon age 88, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday evening, March 18, 2019 at her residence. She loved exercising and being outdoors gardening flowers. She was a hairdresser for many years and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leon; parents, Clarence and Lilian Mae Smith; brothers, Paul and Ben Smith; and sisters, Linda Hollums and Geneva Miller. Survivors include her significant other, Ed Cooley of Cleveland; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family also survive. A Celebration of Life and Home going for Mary Ruth Leon will be held at 2p.m. Friday, March 22, 2019 from the Grissom Memorial Chapel with Brother Ronnie Pearson officiating.

Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-2p.m. on Friday prior to the funeral hour.
