Jewell F. Henry, age 75, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday afternoon, March 8, 2019 in a Chattanooga hospital. Mr. Henry was the son of the late Gracie Chambers Henry and James C. “J. C.” Henry.

His wife, Betty L. Henry also preceded him in death. Mr. Henry was retired from M & M Mars Corporation with 24 years of service. He owned and operated Cleveland Carpets for 20 years.

He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing. He was an avid NASCAR fan and always pulled for the M & M candies car. His whole world was his family especially his son Travis and his granddaughter Lizzie.

Mr. Henry attended the North Cleveland Church of God. Survivors include his son, Travis Henry and his wife Alanna of Cleveland, his granddaughter, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Henry, his sisters, Shirley Parrish and her husband Marvin “Bud” Parrish of Chatsworth, Georgia, Jean Gentry of Canton,Georgia, his brothers, David Henry and his wife Margaret of Cohutta, Georgia, Phillip “Ronnie” Henry of Chatsworth, Georgia, Dennis Henry and his wife Samantha of Calhoun, Georgia and several nieces and nephews also survive. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Monday, March 11, 2019 at 3:00 P. M. at the North Cleveland Church of God, Dixon Chapel with Pastor Mark Williams, Reverend Mitch Maloney and Pastor Steve Gilbert officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Murray County, Georgia with nephews serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 P. M. Monday at the North Cleveland Church of God, Dixon Chapel.
