Mary M. Staniszewski, 93, formerly of Fawn Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. She was born January 5, 1925 in Cokeburg (Washington County) to the late John & Anna Malik Clusta, she was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Parish of Natrona Heights. Mrs. Staniszewski was a hard working woman of many talents.

She enjoyed knitting, baking, crocheting, gardening and furniture refinishing. Survivors include her son Leonard M. (Laurel) Staniszewski, David M. Staniszewski, and William M. (Margie) Staniszewski all of New Kensington, and Ann Marie Staniszewski of Plum; grandchildren, Adam (Riki), Matthew, William, Joseph, Alana, Richard (Ashton), Benjamin and Daniel. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard S. Staniszewski in 2002; and siblings, Madeline, Ann & John.

A very special thank you to Bayberry, Fairwinds Manor, Good Samaritan Hospice and the Home Bound Ministry of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, for Mary’s wonderful care. Viewing will be Thursday 2-4 & 6-8p in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD.

, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where parting prayers will be held Friday at 11:45a followed by a funeral Mass at 12:30p in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 1526 Union Avenue, Natrona Heights. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
