She is survived by her husband, Hubert Wimpy; Children, Jeffery S. Rogers, Arthur L. Rogers, William Joseph Lane, Charles Penland, Misty Sabrina Helton, Brandy Katherine Wimpy, Jessica Selena Galassi, and Norma Mae Gibbs; Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Siblings, Gary Hank Penland and Dixie Lalonnie Hancock; Nieces, Nephews, and a mother to many others. She is preceded by her parents, William H. Penland and Annie May Scoggins; Son, Earl Wayne Penland; and Sister, Janice Bartlett. A private family service will be held at a later date.
