CHERRY ELAINE (CREEL) PARMER, age 62 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on October 18, 2018. She was born in Georgia on July 23, 1956; the daughter of the late Joseph Creel and the late Joyce Roberts Creel. She was the maintenance supervisor of horticulture for the city of Centerpoint, where she was known affectionately by employees as “Boss Lady”.

She is survived by: Daughter, Raven Parmer of Louisville, KY; Son, Logan Parmer of Clanton; Son, Casey Parmer of Clanton; Grandchildren who lovingly called her “Poff”: Georgia Heustis, Winnie Heustis, and Phoebe Heustis all of Louisville, KY; and a Brother, Thomas Creel of Clanton. She is preceded in death by: Husband, James Parmer; Parents, Joseph and Joyce Creel; and Brothers, James Creel and Joseph David Creel. Private Family services will be held at a later date.
