Mary Yvonne Grindlay, 80, passed away June 4, 2018 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born on June 10, 1937 to parents Dewey and Mozelle Yaun West Palm Beach, Florida. Lovingly known to many as Yvonne, she truly enjoyed making friends and never met a stranger.

She cherished her church and the fellowship of her church family. Yvonne was a dedicated and loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, friend and loving caregiver to her dogs. Her memory will be cherished by those who knew her.

She… Read More » is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Van Williams and Robert Grindlay; grandson, Donald Barnett; and brothers, Jimmy and Roy Yaun; and brothers-in-law, Billy Brown and Ferrell Morrison. Yvonne is lovingly survived by her children, Rick Williams, Rita Stewart and husband Jimmy, Robert Grindlay and wife Kandy; sisters, Emma Jean Morrison, Donna Ruth Brown, Deborah Earwood; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and many dear friends. Friends are welcome to join the family for visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Carter-Conley Funeral Home.

Services and burial are pending at Dorsey E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens and Funeral Home in Lake Worth, Florida.
