Maryann Smith July 27, 1966 ~ May 18, 2019 Maryann Smith passed away on May 18, 2019 at home. She was born July 27, 1966 to Raymond H. and Naomi C. Smith at the old Dee Hospital in Ogden. She lived in Roy, Clearfield, and moved back ot Hooper in 2015 to care for our mother.

She worked as a Kindergarten and Preschool teacher for many years. She loved teaching children and the children loved her. She loved to crochet and sew.

She made many quilts for family members. We always looked forward to the quilts and crocheted items we would receive for Christmas. She also loved to read.

She always had a book lying around so she could just pick it up and start reading. Maryann is survived by her mother, Noami C. Smith, Hooper; her sisters, Eldene Smith, Evona Smith, Reylynn (Jeff) Johnson, and Cathy Smith; two nieces, one nephew, one great-niece, and one great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond H. Smith; brother, James Ray Smith; grandparents, Eldon S. and Clara J. Clark and William V and Robble B. Smith.

She is forever in our hearts. We love you Maryann. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Hooper Cemetery.

Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
