Obituary of Mary Leon LITTLE FALLS – Mary E. Leon, 70, of Little Falls, NY, passed away on Friday June 1, 2018 with her loved family by her side. Mary was born on January 15, 1948 in Cobleskill , NY . She was a daughter of Gerald Joseph LaQuee and Beatrice Alberta (Vogel) LaQuee of Summit, NY, and then Sharon Springs , NY.

She was a sister of Shirley Warner and Charlie of Belleview, Florida , Elizabeth Sayward and Roland of Little Falls, NY, and Gerald LaQuee, Jr. and Jean of St. Johnsville, NY. She attended Richmondville Central School . She was employed by LaSalle Labs in Little Falls, Felt Shoe in St. Johnsville, Homelife at Folts in Herkimer , NY , Daniel Green’s in Dolgeville, and Keymark of Fonda, NY.

Mary was married to Alan F. Leon, Sr. on October 11, 1967. They were happily married for 49 years. They were blessed with seven children, Alan Leon, Jr., Charles Leon, Richard and Jane Leon, Harold Leon, Edward Leon, James Leon and Michelle and son-in-law, Eric Neff.

Mary had 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren that she adored very much. She was predeceased by her husband Alan Leon, Sr., mom and dad Gerald Joseph and Beatrice Alberta, sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Frank Moak, and granddaughter Naomi Leon. Graveside funeral service is Friday June 8, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Church Street Cemetery in Little Falls, and then the family will gather at her daughter Michelle’s home.
