Mary M. Garner, 87, of the Plano Community, passed away, Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Hearthstone Place in Elkton. She was born November 26, 1931 to the late Virgil Lee and Sallie E. Harper Fields in Metcalfe County, KY. She was a member of Plano Chapel Holiness Church and a homemaker.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Taylor Garner, JR, son, Robert Lee “Buddy” Garner, sisters, Annie Fields and Laura Emmitt, and brother, Henry Fields. Survivors include a her daughter, Brenda (Barry) Brashear of Allensville, KY, daughter-in-law, Evelyn Garner of Florida, sister, Shirley Green and brother, L.B. Fields all of Glasgow. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Jimmy (Trish) Brashear, Tommy (Stephanie) Brashear, Brian (Jan) Frogge, Jennifer, & Amy and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel in Bowling Green, with Bro. Kevin Hinton officiating. Burial will be in Plano Community Chapel Cemetery.

Friends can visit with the family from 4-7PM, Tuesday and 9 AM until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
