OBITUARY Marylin R. (Hartsuff) Nicolls January 5, 1947 – October 22, 2018 Marylin (Hartsuff) Nicolls, age 71 of East Lansing, passed away Oct. 22, 2018. She was born in Lansing on Jan.

5, 1947 to Robert and Marian (Straus) Hartsuff. A resident of East Lansing for over 65 years, she was a graduate of Gabriels Catholic High School in 1965 and retired from the State of Michigan as an Information Technology Supervisor. Marylin loved to travel, gamble and quilt.

Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Leo and Timothy Hartsuff, Marylin is survived by her siblings, Gary (Patty) Hartsuff, Judy Renz, Lewis (Ruth) Hartsuff, Roger Hartsuff, Rosemary (Dean) Shaffer, Michael Hartsuff, Nancy (Robert) Ashbaugh, Jerome (Jenni) Hartsuff, Tom (Sandra) Hartsuff, Laurie (John) McManus, Brenda (Gary) Clark and William (Jeanne) Hartsuff; husband, Alvero Nicolls and several nieces and nephews. Marylin also loved her dogs, BJ and Zoey and her bird, Mel. Visitation at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Ave.

, East Lansing, Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 955 Alton Rd. , East Lansing, Friday from 10 a.m. until Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care, 2675 S.
