Obituary of Masil Shepherd Masil Joe Shepherd, also known as “Granny” and “Granny Joe” passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 17, 2018. Masil Joe was born November 24, 1942 in Woodville, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Shepherd. She was a lifelong resident of Tyler County and owned several different businesses throughout the years.

Masil Joe was loved and admired by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. H.B Shepherd and her brother Samuel E. Shepherd both of Woodville Texas. She is survived by her sister Linda Gail Hughes and her husband Ronnie Hughes; her four children, Gaylon Lynn Knight and his wife Norma Jean Knight, James Wesley Knight and his wife Paula Marcelle Knight, Victoria Ann Crouch and her husband Michael Anthony Crouch, and Valanda Toy Wilson and her husband David Worth Wilson; ten grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11 AM at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville.
