OBITUARY Matthew A. GRAICHEN June 22, 1983 – January 22, 2019 Matthew A. Graichen, 35, of Ocean Gate, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 23rd, 2019, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, from complications with Diabetes. He was born in Point Pleasant, and lived in Bayville until moving to Ocean Gate. Matthew worked as a Customer Service Representative for Innovative Heating & Cooling in Lakewood.

He attended College majoring in Business. He enjoyed playing recreational basketball for Berkeley Recreation. Matthew was a fun loving person who enjoyed life.

He will be dearly missed. Matthew was predeceased by his mother Kathleen Graichen; his brother Scott Graichen; his maternal grandparents Albert and Evelyn Taber; and his paternal grandparents Edward and Ruth Graichen. He is survived by his devoted father Edward F. Graichen Jr. of Ocean Gate; his brothers Chad and Todd Graichen and wife Jody; his nieces and nephews, Katie, Brianne, Ben, and Cassidy; and many loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 27th, from 4 to 8 PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM, at St. Barnabas RC Church in Bayville. Burial will be immediately following at St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
