Matthew John Hammond, age 36, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 10, 2019. Matthew lived life on his own terms, had a huge heart, and was a true warrior. He was a loving son, father, and child of God.

His passing will forever alter the future of those he has left behind. Matthew is survived by his loving mother, Roxanna (Larry Hadley) Folden; father, Barry (Melissa) Hammond; precious son, Brayden Karter; Brayden’s mother, Karla and grandmother, Beverly; sweet daughter, Leilani Marie; wife and mother of daughter, Destenie Richmond; sister, Ashley (Daniel) King; niece, Eleanor King; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Friends may call at the O.R. WOODYARD CO.

CHAPEL 1346 S. High Street on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 5:00 PM until time of a celebration of Matthew’s life at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
