Matthew N. Fabrick, Jr., 79, of New Kensington, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 17, 2018. Beloved husband of Carol for 51 loving years. Brother of Patty (Frank) Whalen and the late Nancy O’Block (surviving spouse William).

Also survived by his sister-in-law Ethel and many nieces and nephews. Matthew served in the United States Army and was a proud member of the Lower Burrell American Legion Post 868, where he sat on the color guard for many years. Family and friends welcome Wednesday, 5-7 pm at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

1000 Freeport Road, New Kensington (724-335-0100). Prayers of Transfer will take place at 9:30 am Thursday, followed by 10 am mass at St. Margaret Mary Church, Lower Burrell, PA. Interment, with military honors, to follow at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Lower Burrell, PA.
