Ms. Mattie Mae Bullock, age 76, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at her home in Mount Vernon, KY. Mattie was born on December 4, 1941, a daughter of the late Arthur Hermon Bullock, and the late Nannie Ellen Evans in Hansford, KY. She was formerly a nurse aid at Rockcastle Hospital, and Sowders Nursing Home.

She was a member of Providence Church of Christ, and enjoyed watching the news and weather stations on tv. Those left to celebrate her life are: her brothers: Glenn Bullock and Lois, Willard Bullock, Ronnie Bullock, and Doug Bullock, all of Mount Vernon, KY; her sisters: Lee Bullock, and Jean Chattelle and Kenneth both of Mount Vernon, KY, and Donna Lunsford and Tommy of Brodhead, KY; a sister-in-law: Judy Chaney; as well as a host of friends and neighbors. Besides her parents, Arthur Bullock and Nannie Evans, Mattie was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Everett Bullock, and two sisters: Catherine Louise Shelton, and Lillie Ethel Bullock.

Services for Ms. Bullock will be conducted Monday, November 5, 2018 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, beginning with the visitation from 10:30am – 12pm, followed by the funeral at 12pm. Burial will follow in the High Dry Cemetery. Condolences can be made to the family at www.
