Obituary for Maureen LaFever Maureen A. LaFever Age 85, of Beaver Dams, NY, passed away in the comfort and presence of her family on October 19, 2018. Maureen was born in Binghamton on January 9, 1933, the daughter of Paul and Winifred O’Neil. She was predeceased by her parents, loving husband Lyman Dana LaFever; brother Jack O’Neil; and grandson Corey LaFever.

Maureen was a 4-H leader for the Rolling Hills 4-H Club of Beaver Dams. She enjoyed Flea Markets, quilt making, Appaloosa horses, painting, drawing and gardening. Survivors include her children, Russell LaFever, of Beaver Dams, Colleen LaFever of Rocky Mount, NC, Marcia Beecher-LaFever of Ogdensburg, NY, Dana (Sheila) LaFever of Beaver Dams, and Minard LaFever of Beaver Dams; brothers, Norman (Pat) Robinson of Penn Yan, Bruce (Joanne) Robinson of Jamestown, NY, and Daniel O’Neil of Wadena, Minnesota; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

According to her wishes there are no public services. A private burial will be held at Beaver Dams Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to remember her may consider a donation to a charity of one’s choice in her memory.
