Kensington, NH – Maureen B. Patten, 79, most recently of Kensington, formerly of Chandler, AZ and West Newbury, MA, died peacefully with family by her side February 25, 2019 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA. She was born May 4, 1939 in Syracuse, NY where she graduated from high school and later received her bachelor’s degree from LeMoyne College. Maureen moved to Boston after college and later moved to West Newbury with her husband, Dain.

She was employed at Chase & Lunt Insurance in Newburyport, MA and after raising her family returned to Chase & Lunt until her retirement. She made her home in Chandler, AZ the past 20 years, recently coming to Kensington to be near her daughters. Her family and grandchildren were most important to her.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed movies and we can never forget her wonderful laugh. She was the wife of the late Richard D. Patten who predeceased her in 2013. She leaves two daughters, Laura Roche and her husband James of Kensington, Pamela Patten and her partner Michael Proulx of Hampton, 4 grandchildren, Aiden and Colin Roche, Haley and Conor Blaisdell, her brother, William Brady and his wife Cheryl of Chandler, AZ, two nieces and three nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests donations to High Pointe Hospice House Arrangements are by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton.
