Maurice D. Smith, III, 66, of Elkton, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2018 at home. He was born in Upper Darby, PA on June 30, 1951. Mike worked as a mechanic for Mercedes.

He owned and operated Elmer’s Auto in Kimblesville, PA. He was a member of AF & AM Lodge #353, Oxford, PA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating.

Survivors include his beloved wife: Karen (Zeglin) Smith; his late son: Michael Daine Smith; two daughters: Christina and Amy; his mother: Nancy (Henderson) Smith of Upper Darby, PA; late father: Maurice D. Smith, Jr.; and two siblings: Vicki Bivens (Gary) of Chesapeake City, MD and Barry Smith (Fran) of Kimblesville, PA. Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Brotherhood of the Jungle Cock, in care of the funeral home.
