Maurice E. Peavey, 73, of Biddeford died Thursday, December 13, 2018 at his home. He was born August 27, 1945 in Portland a son of Frank E. and Emma (Bubier) Peavey and was educated in South Portland schools. Maurice owned and operated a salvage business for most of his working life until becoming disabled.

On August 18, 1979 he married Rachel Cassette in St. Andre’s Church. Maurice was predeceased by: His sister Shirley Day in 1994, and both his brother-in-law Francis Day and nephew Thomas Day in 2004. He is survived by: Rachel Peavey, his wife of 39 years of Biddeford His sister, Judy Garland of Limington 2 nieces: Karen and Gail 1 nephew, Billy and several great nieces and nephews Visiting Hours will 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.
