Mrs. Maurine J. Melin, 90, of Centuria, Wisconsin passed away at Sophie’s Manor in Centuria on Saturday, October 13, 2018 with her family at her side. Maurine Chinander was born on April 25, 1928 in Taylors Falls, MN the daughter of Herbert “Roy” and Clara Chinander. Maurine leaves to celebrate her memory: children, Lynn (Sharon) Melin, Kathleen Melin and Mark (Mirjam) Melin, grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Nicholas, Kodiak, Blaze, Lark, Glenn, Travis, Dylan, Jennifer, Ben, Court and Meredith, several great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Debbie Melin, sister-in-law, Marguerite Chinander, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Clara, husband, Glenn, son, Timothy, brother, Roland and his wife Viola and brother, John. The funeral service for Maurine will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Fristad Lutheran Church in Centuria. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the Fristad Lutheran Cemetery following the service.

Please join the family back at the church for a light lunch and continued fellowship following the cemetery service. The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
