OBITUARY Maxine Lafern Robertson September 14, 1929 – January 31, 2019 Maxine Lafern Robertson, 89, of East Peoria, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home. She was born September 14, 1929 at home in Macedonia, Iowa to Lafe and Lula (Summers) Morgan. She married Aubrey Ray Robertson October 4, 1947.

He passed away December 24, 1988. Survivors include her sons, Melvin (Linda) Robertson of Bowling Green, KY and Stephen Robertson of East Peoria, IL; 4 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandsons. Preceded her in death were her parents, husband, Aubrey Ray and longtime companion, Randall “Randy” Lane.

Maxine worked for many years as a cook for East Peoria Schools. She was a member of East Side Bible Church. Cremation will be accorded.

Inurnment will be in Roberts Cemetery. Melvin and Stephen would like to thank Kathy Philbrook for being with their mother in her last days. Kathy and Maxine were good friends.
