Maxine Lawrence Prescott, Michigan Maxine Lawrence, 91, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018. Maxine was born December 6, 1926 in Alger, Michigan to the late Budd and Elizabeth Geister. She married James “Fred” Lawrence August 10, 1967 in Rose City, Michigan.

Maxine worked for Standish Products. She lived all her life in the Alger area. Maxine enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles, gardening, baking and making cookies.

(Cindy) Ide, Judith A. (Carlen A. James) Ide and Kim M. (Sharon Niver) Ide. Maxine is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

She is survived by 2 Brothers; Wholly Geister and Robert G. (Marian) Geister and 4 Sisters; Ethel Rector, Marion Belding, Caroline Townsend and Shirley Wiseman and several nieces and nephews. Maxine was predeceased by 1 Brother, Clarence Geister. Funeral Services will be Monday, November 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home-STANDISH CHAPEL, Standish, Michigan with Pastor John Tousciuk officiating and interment in Alger Cemetery, Alger Cemetery.

The family will greet friends at the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home-STANDISH CHAPEL from 10 am Monday, November 12, 2018 until the time of service at 1:00 pm.
