Mary Maxine “Micky” Fontenot-Hukill, 82 of Ville Platte, LA, born July 4, 1936 went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Charles William “Sonny” Hukill, brothers, Jay, Roland and Perry Fontenot, and great-granddaughter Jordyn Lee Hukill. Micky is survived by her children, Mike (Sally) Hukill, Patti (Donald) Maricle, Jeff (Penny) Hukill, Barbara (Michael) DeAngelis, Jay (Evelyn) Hukill and Kelly Hukill of Massillon, 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, and sister Ramona (James) Prejean of Ville Platte, LA.

She was the granddaughter of the late Pauline LaRose Fontenot, Father, Founder and First Sheriff of Evangeline Parish, LA. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 2 P.M. at New Life Tabernacle, 3542 – 12th St. N.W., Massillon with Bishop Harold Blaylock officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 P.M. at the church prior to the service.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be made here at this site.
