Michael J. Theken, age 66 of Massillon, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018. He was born August 6, 1952, in Massillon. Michael was a member of St. Barbara Church and had worked for Green Thumb Nursery.

He enjoyed woodworking and was a Massillon Tiger football fan. Michael is survived by his mother Mildred (Sander) Walsh, brother Robert (Mindy) Theken, sister Kathleen Walsh, niece Caitlin Walsh and nephew Matthew Walsh. He was preceded in death by his father James Theken and brother-in-law Richard Walsh.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Home – Massillon Chapel, 639 1st ST NE. Calling hours will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. Condolences to the family may be made here on the tribute wall.
