Obituary for Maxine Rodefer Maxine Rodefer, 93, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Sunday morning, October 14, 2018. Born April 24, 1925 in Richmond, IN, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Bernice (McKissick) Harsh. She retired from the Baxter Corporation in Eaton after 15 years and was a member of the Church of Christ in Eaton.

Maxine kept a full social calendar as a Church member, member of the Red Hatters of New Paris and the Preble County Widows Club. She loved to dance, play euchre and going to her great grandchildren’s activities. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Forest W. Rodefer in 1976; and her brothers Samuel, Daniel and Eugene Harsh.

Survived by daughter Carolyn Weese of Eaton; step children Carolyn Smith of Eaton, Lloyd Rodefer of Dayton and Sharon Jackson of West Alexandria: grandchildren Tonya Hickman and husband Bill of Eaton, Jerry Patrum of Eaton and Kim Shumway and husband Jeremy of Middletown, IN; great grandchildren Travis Hickman, Caitlin Patrum, Kelsey Patrum and Rae Brodie; along with numerous nieces, nephews. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Church of Christ – 725 W. US. Rt.

35 – Eaton. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM at the Church with Pastor Paul Nichols presiding. Following the service a procession will lead to Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery for a closing ceremony at the graveside.
