Obituary of Maxine Evelyn Lucci Maxine Evelyn Lucci age 84 of Baltimore Street, Westover passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019. She was born April 26, 1934 in Pushmatahall, AL a daughter of the late Aden and Birdie Ezell. Maxine along with her late husband Tito, were the owners and operators of the Westover Dairy Queen for 25 years and was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

Maxine was a hardworking, devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was greatly loved by family and friends and will be deeply missed. Maxine is survived by her two sons, Robert Lucci (Sandy) of Westover and Donald C. Lucci (Deb Copeland) of Hilton Head, SC, one daughter, Dina Lucci of Westover, grandchildren, Todd Lucci (Brittany), Stacey Cather (BJ), Matt Copeland, Erica Hamilton (JR), Ryan Lucci, Maggie Lucci, Molly Lucci and Tate Lucci, seven great grandchildren, one brother, James Ezell of Mobile, AL, sisters-in-law, Liz Lucci, Mary Dalzot, and Virginia Gibson, and brothers-in-law Tony Moberg, Auggie Lucci, and Geno Lucci.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Attilio Maxwell “Tito” Lucci in 2017, two sisters, Mildred Cooper and Helen Moberg, and six brothers, Robert Ezell, Wallace Ezell, A.C. Ezell, S.T. Ezell, Gene Ezell, and L. Melvin Ezell. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all the caregivers, staff, and nurses for the love and care given Maxine throughout her extended illness. It was greatly appreciated and will always be remembered.

Friends will be received at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until the Vigil service at 7:30 pm to conclude the visitation. Visitation will continue at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane, Morgantown on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial with Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati, STD, VE, as celebrant.

Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Peace Mausoleum at Star City. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www. McCulla.com.
