Melissa’s Obituary Melissa Ann Mecaskey, 37, most affectionately known as Lisa, passed away at her home in Sugar Land, Texas on March 20, 2019. Born on July 1, 1981 in Denison, Texas, she was the daughter of Mark E. and Deborah Lynne (Nicholson) Mecaskey. On August 2, 1998, she married Paul Raymond Romanski in Whitewright, Texas.

She and Paul soon moved to the Houston where they raised their three children. They had been married for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Debbie.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband, Paul of Sugar Land; her father, Mark Mecaskey of Whitewright; her daughter, Tevis Anne Mecaskey of Sugar Land; two sons, Logan Paul Romanski and Michael Devlin Romanski both of Sugar Land; one sister, Amanda LaRue of Paris, TX; two brothers, Jon Mullins of Seattle, WA and James Mecaskey of Burleson and her paternal grandparents, Jerry and Marie Mecaskey of Whitewright and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
