Melvin Lee Dupin, age 88 of Big Clifty, passed away Friday, May 17th 2019 at his residence. He was born October 10th 1930 in Solway, KY, the son of Joseph Grant & Ader Hay Dupin. He was a masonry worker for K.A. Barker Construction.

He is survived by his wife, Lorah Dupin, two daughters, Beverly Marlene Dupin Ray (Keith) & Linda Charnell Cox (Carl W.) one brother, James Russell Dupin (Ethel G.) three grandchildren, DeWayne Ray, Carla Nicole Scott, & Candace Lanell Dailey, six great grandchildren, Benjamin Keith Ray, Gillian Faith Ray, Sophia June Ray, Aidan Joseph Scott, Presleigh Nicole Scott, & Calleigh Jo Scott. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Stella Mae Smallwood. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon (CDT) Tuesday (May 21) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.

Burial will be in the New Finch Addition Cemetery in Big Clifty. Visitation will held from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. (CDT) Monday at the funeral home. Watson & Hunt Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Dupin.
