Obituary for Melvin Leslie Nelson GRAND RAPIDS – Melvin Leslie Nelson, age 76, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at his home in the loving care of his family. A visitation for Melvin will take place from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Melvin will be laid to rest in the spring of 2019 at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens where a graveside service and military honors will take place at that time.
