Michael A. Veltre, 94, of Parlin, and formerly of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. Michael owned Anita’s Corner Luncheonette in Jersey City, before working as a delivery man for Tippy’s Restaurant. He also worked for the Jersey City Parking Authority.

Michael will be remembered as a loyal friend, and a loving Father, Grandfather, and uncle. Surviving are Michaels beloved children: John Veltre and his wife Pamela, and Danielle Stafford and her Husband Ray; His cherished Grandchildren: HeatherRae, and Raymond; And his loving nieces: Angela Mannino and Elizabeth Capriola. Also surviving are many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years: Anita Veltre. A Visitation for Michael will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather at the funeral home on Monday, December 3, 2018, at 10:30 AM, followed by a 11:00 Religious Service.

Entombment will follow place at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s of New Jersey (www. ALZNJ.org).
