Michael Wayne “Buck” Caviness, 61, of Ramseur, died Monday, October 1, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. No services are scheduled. Michael was a native of Randolph County and formerly employed as a mechanic with Hoffman Express Lube.

He was a fan of Notre Dame football and an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Lillie Belle Craven Caviness. Survivors: sisters, Armeta Warren, and husband Henry, of Ramseur, Carolyn Fields, and companion Jeff Ervin, of Randleman.
