Obituary for Michael D. Deimler Michael D. Deimler, 69, of Hershey, passed away on Monday, February 18,2019 at home with his family by his side. Born in Hershey on September 11, 1949, he was the son of the late Wilson R. and Madalene Pearl Smith Deimler. He graduated in 1967 from Hershey High School and attended HACC.

He started the Banta and Deimler Construction Company and was the second shift supervisor at the H. B. Reese Candy Company for 30 years. Mike served in the Army Reserves, was a member of the Pole Bridge Hunting Club in Sullivan County, was a Past President of the Sand Hill Lions Club and a member of the American Chestnut Foundation. He enjoyed being a Grandfather, hunting, fishing, camping in Sullivan County and helping nature.

Mike is survived by three sons: David husband of Kylie, Jason and Patrick; his fiancé, Rose Perez, a brother, James; and two grandsons, Tein Michael and Hendrix Gray and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Savannah L. Simmons Deimler and his brothers, John F., Thomas R., Robert A. and William J. Services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019, at 11 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummmelstown, with The Rev. David H. Dow, pastor of St. Jacob’s Kimmerling Church, Lebanon, officiating.

A viewing will be held in the funeral home from 10 AM until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033 and the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS, 66675. Online condolences may be shared at www.
