Michael is survived by his brother, Marvin Fire Thunder of Manderson, SD; sister, Olivia Grass of Manderson, SD; hunka brother, Fritz Pohl of Italy; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edison and Victoria Fire Thunder; brothers, Martin Fire Thunder and Sylvester Fire Thunder; sisters, Yvonne Fire Thunder; and grandparents, Charles Fire Thunder, Sally Crow, Charles White Butterfly and Rosa Lame Dog. Pallbearers will be Harlen Fire Thunder, Bluch Fire Thunder, Joe Ben Janis, Lenard Thunder Horse, Kevin Fire Thunder, Johnny Fire Thunder, Arlen Janis, Sr., and Lloyd Thunder Horse.
