Michael Felton “Mike” Burbage, age 55, of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday February 12th at his residence. Mike was born July 6, 1963 in Charleston, SC. Son of Bertha Jean Ard Burbage and the late Felton Burbage.

He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and a proud Gamecock. Mike was a member of the Fayetteville Christian Church in Fayetteville, Georgia. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a former employee of Delta Airlines.

Mike was the IT Systems Senior Engineer with Eaton Corporation prior to his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Cheri Dutton Burbage: one son, Michael “Andy” Burbage: one daughter, Kaitlyn Michelle Burbage all of Calhoun, his mother; Bertha Burbage Smith and her husband Ben C. Smith, one sister; Debby Burbage Perkins and her husband Richard, one nephews; William White all of Summerville, SC. .

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday February 16th at 2pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. Dan Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at 12 noon Thursday February 21st at the Georgia National Cemetery with Military Honors afforded by the United States Navy. The family will receive friends Saturday February 16th from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
