Obituary for Michael Fred Collins CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Michael Fred Collins, 56, died Monday, December 17, 2018 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tennessee. He was born in Dungannon, Virginia; son of the late William and Ethel Gibson Collins. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
He graduated from Lebanon High School. He is survived by two daughters, Natasha Collins Rynes and husband, Corey of Castlewood, Virginia and Miranda Robinson and husband, Jody of Castlewood, Virginia; mother of his children, Lisa Collins of Castlewood, Virginia; four sisters, Bessie Lane and husband, Ray of Fort Blackmore, Virginia, Junita Burton and husband, Willard of Nickelsville, Virginia, Pauline Long of Castlewood, Virginia, and Carolyn Nickels and husband, Pat of Castlewood, Virginia; four brothers, Doug Collins and wife, Mary of Castlewood, Virginia, Ted Collins and wife, Lillian of Castlewood, Virginia, William Collins and wife, Rachael of Castlewood, Virginia, and Charlie Ray Collins of Castlewood, Virginia; four grandchildren, Peyton Alexis Collins, Noah Lee Robinson, Paisley Ariella Rynes, and Cody Michael Robinson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Michael Fred Collins will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev.
Lawrence Hollyfield and Rev. Sam Hubbard officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.
Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Pallbearers will be Jody Robinson, Corey Rynes, Ted Collins, William Collins, Lee Collins, and Charlie Ray Collins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
