Michael Giangrande Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Uncle, 66 Mr. Michael Giangrande, 66, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, September 26 at 8:45 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield at 10:00 a.m. The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 25 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Mr. Giangrande was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield.

He worked as a Crane Operator for the Local 825 Operating Engineers, Springfield, for 43 years before retiring. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Janice (nee DePerri) Giangrande; his loving son Michael Anthony Giangrande; his mother Grace (nee Alvino) Giangrande; his brother Anthony Giangrande Jr. and his wife Linda; his dear sister-in-law Patty Fazzini and her husband Pat; his brother-in-law Nicholas DePerri; his cherished nieces and nephews Anthony, Cherie, Patrick and Gianna; his great niece Brena and his dear pet Beagles Harley and Luke. Mr. Giangrande is predeceased by his father Anthony Giangrande.
