Obituary for Michael Gus Rudnicki Michael Gus Rudnicki, 66, of Festus, MO, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019, at his residence. He was born is St. Louis City, St. Louis, MO on November 9, 1952 to the late Gus Rudnicki and Carrie Moore. Michael was united in marriage to Kimberly McAllister in Piedmont, MO on November 12, 2011 and were blessed with two children.

Michael was very patriotic and proudly served in the United States Army earning a National Defense Service Medal and Sharpshooter award. He worked as a journeyman roofer in his younger years until he went to work as a liquid loader for kinder Morgan for over twenty years. He enjoyed traveling, sightseeing, woodworking yardwork, his flower garden and he loved his automobiles.

Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a helpful spirit and a kind heart. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son: Michael “Mikey” M. Rudnicki. Michael is survived by his loving wife Kim; children: Charlie McAllister of Arnold, MO, Carrie Bequette of Festus, MO, Denise Rudnicki-Hyder of Missouri, Joey Rudnicki-Barkley of Colorado; one brother: Frank Walters of St. Charles, MO; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019, from 5:00-8:00pm at Mahn Funeral Home, 515 Collins Drive, Festus, MO.

Graveside services will follow Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 11:00 am, at Forest Chapel Cemetery near Piedmont, MO. Online condolences can be made at www.
