Obituary for Michael K. O’Kelly Michael Kevin O’Kelly, age 57, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born October 4, 1961 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Ron and Donna (Dvorak) O’Kelly. Mike had worked for Ameribank Savings and Loan for 13 years, working his way up to Vice President.

For the past 21 years, he has worked at International Aid as their I.T. Director. He was an avid outdoorsman, which included camping with his family, hiking, as well as fishing with his son, Chris. Mike also enjoyed gardening and working on his landscaping, and for a while, sang in a southern gospel Christian quartet called “Voices 4 Praise”.

SURVIVORS include 3 children: Christopher (Jennifer) O’Kelly of Norton Shores, Megan O’Kelly of Lake Odessa, Emma O’Kelly of Grand Haven; his mother, Donna Lambrix of N. Muskegon; sister, Rhonda O’Kelly of Spring Lake; his former spouse, Julie Stahl; 2 step-brothers; 1 step-sister; numerous nieces and nephews; and his loving canine companions: Eli and Sampson. He was preceded in death by his father, Ron O’Kelly and step-father, David Lambrix. SERVICES for Mike will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 9, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with Pastor Steve Deur officiating.
