Millie Marie Pfeiffer, age 91 of Grand Haven, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at her home. She was born September 10, 1927 in Dallas, TX to Alvie C. and Eura M. (Curlee) Ford. Millie married Harley Pfeiffer on June 6, 1952 in Houston, TX.

He preceded her in death February 15, 1997. She worked for Eagle Ottawa Leather, Michigan Plastics, and Challenge Machinery in the financial office, and for Grand Haven Public Schools in Education Services. Millie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Haven where she served on committees, was a Deacon, and was a member of the Presbyterian Women Eight Founders Circle.

She loved spending time with her family, and attended all her children and grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. She also enjoyed watching Detroit Tigers Baseball. Millie loved the Lord, and spent her time knitting, cross-stitching, cooking, and baking.

Millie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Robin (Bob) Eidson of Grand Haven; sons, Glenn (Kathleen) Pfeiffer of Dove Cannon, CA, Ned (Mary Ellen) Pfeiffer of Los Altos Hills, CA, and Timothy Pfeiffer of Grand Haven; 12 grandchildren: Jaclyn King, Matthew (Nanette) Pfeiffer, Brian Pfeiffer, Cameron Pfeiffer, Laine Pfeiffer, Jason (Faith) Eidson, Adam (Brittany) Eidson, Amanda Eidson, Alex Eidson, Ryan Pfeiffer, Cory Pfeiffer, and Forrest Pfeiffer; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Maddox, Jackson, and Addison Pfeiffer; sister-in-law, Doris (Gary) VandenBrand; brother-in-law, Don (Marge) Pfeiffer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three brothers: Alvie, Allan, and Charles Ford; two sisters, Nina Gibbs and Else Goodlove; and several brothers-in-law. The Funeral Service for Millie will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Troy Hauser Brydon officiating.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 4th from 4 pm to 6 pm at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to First Presbyterian Church or Grand Haven Area Community Foundation.
