Michael L. Reynolds, age 52, of Platteville, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 8, 2018. He was born June 26, 1965, the son of Franklin “Delano” and Constance (Schildgen) Reynolds. Michael attended day care for the disabled at Mt.

Ida, Wisconsin, in his formative years. After extensive rehab at the Chileda Institute in La Crosse, he came to make his home at the M & M Group Home near Platteville. He enjoyed music, swimming, and various social outings – forming a special bond with his family, care providers, and activity directors. He is survived by his mother, Connie Reynolds; his siblings: Theresa Moore, Faith (Jeff) Nemitz, Chad (Shanna), Calvin (Lisa), and Archie (Leann) Reynolds; his special loving caregivers: Marvin and Madeline Flogel, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Delano, he was preceded in death by a brother, Todd; paternal grandparents, Archie (Vera) Reynolds; maternal grandparents, Joe (Drusilla) Schildgen; and many members of the Reynolds and Schildgen families.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster, and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

In lieu of plants and flowers, a Michael L. Reynolds Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville is entrusted with his services.
