Mickey Taylor, of Opelika, passed away at his home on Saturday, May 26, 2018 in Opelika. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 6:00pm at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before the service beginning at 5:00pm at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home.

Mickey was an avid NASCAR fan, and loved the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his parents Herman Taylor, and Carol Letlow. Mr. Taylor is survived by his sons: Michael Taylor (Jennifer), and Steven Counts (Windy); grandson, Devin Counts; sisters: Karen Letlow, Cathy Gray (Don), and Marcie Meks (William); brothers: Roy Letlow (Amy), Johns Taylor (Lisa), and Wayne Taylor; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
