Obituary for Michael “Mike” J. Krenn Michael “Mike” J. Krenn, 61, of Fond du Lac, died on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at his residence. He was born on December 22, 1956, in Fond du Lac, the son of Joseph and Dorothy Dodd Krenn. He graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School.

He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mike was a former semi-truck driver, K9 officer in Nevada Corrections and was a Correctional Officer at Waupun. He enjoyed shooting pool in various leagues in Fond du Lac.

He is survived by his children: Gina Duenkel of Fond du Lac, Marcus (fiancé Jenny Ford) Lettau of Fond du Lac and Stephanie (fiancé Mason Roberts) Krenn of North Fond du Lac; step-children: Amber (Keith) Schneider of North Fond du Lac, and Kory (Lisa) Friedel of Fond du Lac; Mike’s former wife, Nicolette Friedel of North Fond du Lac; four grandchildren: Hunter, Katelynn, Vera and Liam; two brothers: Robert Krenn of Fond du Lac and Lee Thomas of Janesville; a special niece, Alasha (Malcolm Weaver) Riendeau of Madison, nieces, nephews, and great nieces: Jasmine Hanson and Emily Riendeau and special friends Dan (Jill) Perry of Fond du Lac. He is preceded in death by his parents, his stepdad Lee Thomas Sr. “Cookie” and his sister Susan Hughes. A gathering of friends and family will take place on Saturday, June 23, 2018, starting at 1:00 PM at RamJets, 35 N. Lincoln Ave.
