Obituary for Michael P. Murphy Michael P. Murphy “Murf”, age 61, joined his beloved daughter in Heaven on September 14, 2018. He was born to the late Robert And Margaret (nee Gritz) Murphy. Murf proudly served in United States Marine Corp, during the Vietnam War and attended boot camp at Parris Island “Semper Fi”.

He was a self employed motorcycle mechanic at Murf’s Cycles. Murf enjoyed motorcycles, trains, racing, cars, monster trucks – anything speed related. He liked to spend time repairing motorcycles, and drag racing his Dr. Destructo racing motorcycle.

Murf will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Lived, loved, remembered always. Murf is predeceased by his daughter, Taylor Mae Murphy.

He is survived by his ex wife, mother of his child, and dear friend Colleen Murphy; sister, Eileen Wayne; cousins, Franny Luccarella and Marie Vann; nephews, Adam Wayne and Kyle Wayne; and many loving family members and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on September 22, 2018 from 9am-11am at Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home, located at 2426 Cove Rd. , Pennsauken, NJ 08109.

A funeral ceremony will begin at 11am at the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by visiting www.
