Danielson, 67, died Tuesday evening May 21, 2019 at his residence. Born April 3, 1952 in Newberry, son of the late Robert and Eva (Moilanen) Danielson, he was a 1970 graduate of Newberry High School. Mike was formerly employed at Pike’s Distributing, co-owned Ed and Mike Trucking and later as a heavy equipment operator for the Luce County Road Commission for several years until his retirement.

Mike was a life member of B.P.O.E. #1705 and member of Aerie #3701 both of Newberry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at his camp and the family’s farm in Keweenaw Bay, operating with Kubota tractor and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by an infant sister and father-in-law Wayne Weber. Survivors include his loving wife, the former Danette Weber, of Newberry; daughter Kaleena (Douglas Littlejohn Jr.) Danielson and his pride and joy grandson Drake Littlejohn all of Newberry; siblings Robert (Kim) Danielson of Marquette and Mary (Deane) Kent of Shepard; mother-in-law Judith Weber of Newberry; brothers-in-law Terry (Suki) Weber and Curt Weber all of O’Fallon, IL and Chris (Hazel) Weber of Browns Mills, NJ; several nieces, nephews and friends. Per request, cremation services were accorded.

A celebration of life gathering will take place at a later date to be announced by the family. Memorials may be directed to the family in his memory. Condolences may be expressed at www.
