PINSON—Mr. Michael Anthony Pinson, age 71 of Middleburg, FL passed away December 4, 2018. He was born March 21, 1947 in Beaufort, SC, the son of Robert Pinson and Lavinia Griffith Pinson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Postal Service following many years of dedicated service.

Michael was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed his membership at St. Luke Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was predeceased by his loving wife Rebecca Vaughan Pinson and his parents.

He is survived by his daughter Kelly (Matthew) Register; his son Ryan (Heather) Vaughan; grandsons Kyle (Destiny) Register and Andrew Vaughan; his granddaughter Emily Register; great grandson Easton Register; sisters Mary Alice Thomas, Peggy Smith, and Cindy O’Neill; brothers Bobby, Stanley, and John Pinson. A Funeral Mass in celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday December 8, 2018 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1606 Blanding Blvd. , Middleburg, FL.

Visiting hours will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday evening at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd. , Orange Park.
