Obituary for Mike Wells Michael Wells, 65, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Mike was born on April 20, 1953 in Aberdeen to Hurshell Jack and Ovie Nabors Wells. He attended Hatley schools and was a graduate of Itawamba Junior College.

Known as kindhearted, Mike was soft spoken and befriended everyone. He was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ before moving to Hamilton, AL where he attended Hamilton Church of Christ. Mike loved to travel and he was an avid Ole Miss and New Orleans Saints fan.

Prior to his retirement, he worked in Information Technology for Renasant Bank. Funeral services for Mike will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Mr. Marshall Eubanks officiating. Burial will follow in Hatley Cemetery.

Survivors include one brother, Hershell Wells (Judy) of Hatley; one sister, Tula Nichols of Hamilton, AL; nieces and nephews, Vicki Williams, Keith Nichols, Shannon Nichols, Leah King, Jaceon Wells, Nikkyle Wells, Sonya Ponicone, Shawn Camp, Chris Camp, and Donna Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Barbara Wells, Ellen Phillips; one brother, Jerry Wayne Wells; and nephew, Jon Wells. Pallbearers will be Wade Williams, Keith Nichols, Shannon Nichols, Jaceon Wells, Nikkyle Wells, and Scotty King.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
