Mildred Elizabeth ‘Millie’ Loss November 01, 1940 – February 02, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Mildred Elizabeth ‘Millie’ Loss, 78, formerly of Hugo, CO, died February 2, 2019, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born November 1, 1940, in Karval, CO, the daughter of Palmer J. and Laura E. (Dockendorf) Peterson. Millie graduated from Hugo High School in 1958.

In addition to being a homemaker, she worked as an assistant manager at Loaf ‘n Jug for over 23 years before retiring. Millie was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Hugo. In September, 1961, she married William ‘Marvin’ Loss in Rocky Ford, CO.

He died in November, 2009. Millie is survived by: daughters, Kristi Walker (Marvin), Kari Eisenzimmer (Danny), all of Lindsborg, Lisa Gayler (Wayne) of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Christopher Norris, Dylan Walker, Allyson Walker, and Laura Eisenzimmer. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Peterson.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Nancy Crowl officiating. Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2019, in Evergreen Cemetery, Hugo, CO. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.

The casket will remain closed. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
