Kenneth’s Obituary Kenneth Riley Parkest, 63, of Hanson, KY passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Baptist Health Madisonville. He was born on January 21, 1956 in Madisonville, KY to the late Ada Parkest Babbs and Celester Parkest. Kenneth was a United States Army Veteran and was a truck driver for Pleasant Trucking.

He enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Faye Parkest; sister, Nora Lee; and his brothers, Wayne Parkest and Ronnie Parkest. Survivors include his step-daughters, Angela Allen of Prosperity, SC and Christial Bagwell of Madisonville; step-son, Robert Dale McGregor of Hanson; brother, Donnie Parkest of Madisonville; sisters, Brenda Lee of Manitou, KY, Betty (Gene) Rickard of Hanson and Becky (Jerry) Blackburn of Princeton, KY; eight step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care. Condolences may be made to the family at www.
